In gratitude to God for Christian Science, I wish to tell my experience at the birth of my youngest child, April 20, 1909. I had been treated by a Christian Scientist a short time prior to this, so I asked my husband to telephone the practitioner, and also a doctor. Just forty-five minutes after this the child was born. The birth was painless and there were no discordant after effects, except a slight tenderness. The doctor did not know that I had Christian Science help, so he left instructions as to what I should do; but, knowing what the medical law is concerning those things, and the doctor's fears, I was up the next morning and wrote to the practitioner. When the doctor returned he found me all right; he did not understand it, but I did. After I was up and dressed, I told my husband, and he too was astonished at this wonderful demonstration. I was willing to trust to the "great Physician," as this was not the only time God had helped me; and I know He always will if we trust Him fully.
