No possible relationship exists between Christian Science...

No possible relationship exists between Christian Science practise and magnetic healing. Christian Science is a demonstrable Science. It is not human opinion. Its practise is not limited to one person nor to any particular set of persons, but it is universal in its scope and availability for salutary purposes, and can be utilized by any person who has a spiritual comprehension of the Holy Bible, as interpreted in Christian Science.

Christian Science is based upon the teachings of Christ Jesus, and in obedience to his teachings is healing the sick and reforming the sinner by spiritual means alone. God is Spirit; He is the infinite divine Principle, whose nature needs to be understood by all. This spiritual understanding is the plan of salvation elucidated in the Holy Scriptures, and its possession by the student of Christian Science is essential in Christian Science practise. The Bible reveals the allness of God, and it declares that the real man is God's image and likeness; that man is like Spirit, is spiritual; and this clearly indicates that a mortal is not the man who is referred to in the first chapter of Genesis as being God's image and likeness.

Mrs. Eddy claimed to be only what she really was, namely, the Discoverer of the truth of being that was exemplified in the time of Christ Jesus by the Master and his disciples, and that became lost to the world through sensuality and materialism. She first demonstrated the claims made for Christian Science by healing all manner of diseases; then she wrote and published what had been revealed to her. The reading public today is familiar with the text-book of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," of which she is the author, and it is also known that the perusal of this wonderful book is healing people daily.
