I wish to express my appreciation and love for Christian Science, in which I became interested four years ago. Through the help of a practitioner I was able to pass through three of the severest ordeals of my entire life. In the summer of 1908 my brother passed away without any warning, and without the comfort and support of Christian Science I could not have endured the trial. Three months later my husband underwent a surgical operation, and was given up by surgeons and physicians; but at the critical time, the practitioner who had helped me had the understanding to give us mentally the thought of life in God so plainly that my husband made a most wonderful recovery. During this time my father passed away, and with the sustaining power of Truth I was able to be of assistance to my mother and to do all that was required of me. I was also healed of a severe form of stomach trouble and inflammation.

My knowledge of Christian Science is increasing daily, and my life is made happier by it. I cheerfully and lovingly give this outward expression of my gratitude for the truth.
