Christian Science sets to work to heal by teaching men that they must walk in the footsteps of Christ. To the exact extent in which they succeed in doing this, they will gain that Mind which was in Christ Jesus, and exactly in the proportion in which they gain that Mind, they will gain not only purity of thought and harmony of existence, but physical health. "The body," Mrs. Eddy writes, on page 370 of Science and Health, "improves under the same regimen which spiritualizes the thought." This is about as different from the teaching referred to in your review as anything possibly could be.
