Christian Science has been of great help to me. I had a distressing ailment for several years which caused me much suffering. I had five slight operations every two or three years. Our doctor had consulted other physicians, and they said there was no cure for me.

I was advised to try Christian Science, and while visiting at my father's home in Danville, in the summer of 1909, I took one week's treatment, and was entirely healed, not only of the disease mentioned, but of other troubles also. I had weak eyes and had been wearing glasses for ten years, but after the first treatment in Christian Science I had no further need of them. I am thankful to say that with my slight understanding of this truth, gained from the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have been able to meet all physical troubles that have since come up, as well as to receive mental comfort. My heart overflows with gratitude and love to God, and to our dear Leader for the spiritual light I am receiving each day.—IRENE HODGES, Virgilina, Va.
