THE FEBRUARY COSMOPOLITAN

Christian Scientists will read with much pleasure the most excellent article, "Mrs. Eddy: Her Purpose and Accomplishment," by Frederick Dixon of London, England, which appears in the February number of the Cosmopolitan Magazine. It is difficult to write adequately on such a subject as this within the compass of a magazine article, but Mr. Dixon has accomplished the task in a most satisfactory way, and our readers, we are sure, will want to circulate widely among their friends this admirably comprehensive and appreciative review of the wonderful achievement of our beloved Leader.

An interesting feature of the article is a reproduction of Mrs. Eddy's favorite portrait, which has never before been published. It is to be regretted, however, that the publishers inadvertently used as the second illustration a picture which is not a likeness of Mrs. Eddy and was never approved by her.—Editor.
