I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...

I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It has revealed to me a God who is an ever-present help. Before I knew anything of this truth I denied the existence of a supreme power and was opposed to all forms of religion, as they seemed to me to be mere superstition without proof.

The understanding of Christian Science has proven to me the ever-presence and all-power of God, good, and the unreality of evil. I am grateful for Christian Science. because it is teaching me to love all men as brothers, and in doing this it is overcoming egotism, selfishness, and all uncharitableness. I am also grateful for this teaching because it is the Science of Life, and through the understanding gained from the study of the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, every attack of illness is quickly overcome; it has revealed to me something of eternity, the spiritual existence apart from material phenomena and a limited sense of life, and has indeed unlocked the Bible which before was to me a closed book.

Among other blessings is that of class instruction, which has raised me to a higher plane of thought and action, and turned me from personality to Principle, both in the seeking of good and in the overcoming of evil. For our Lesson-Sermons, our literature, including the Monitor, our lectures and reading-rooms, I am daily filled with gratitude toward our Leader, who has made all of this possible.
