On Christmas morning, 1909, my little daughter, a year and a half old, was lying in a semicomatose condition and could not be aroused, which alarmed me greatly. I discovered later that she had swallowed some match-heads the day before, and I knew that according to materia medica this was extremely dangerous in the case of so young a child. I immediately called up a Christian Science practitioner on the telephone, and she took the case. Half an hour later, when she reached my house, my little daughter was noticeably better, and although the Scientist remained only a short time, the improvement during that time was marvelous. We went to my mother's house, half a mile away, and spent the day there, and when we departed for home at ten o'clock in the evening the child was in a normal condition.

It was a beautiful demonstration of Christian Science healing, and I feel so grateful for it that I want other mothers to hear of my experience.
