I am writing this testimony in the hope that it will help some mother as the truth about God and man has helped me. My baby was born in June, 1907, when I realized in a wonderful way the power of Truth. Since then every ailment has been overcome for him in a few hours. In November, 1908, I was visiting a Christian Science friend in Michigan, when we were awakened in the night by an attack of croup. In one hour, however, it was perfectly met and I returned to my bed, while the Scientist sat by the side of the sweetly sleeping boy and declared the truth of the all-power and all-presence of God for an hour longer. When we arose in the morning it seemed as if this experience had been only a midnight dream, and our baby was as bright and happy as ever. There were none of the after-effects which often follow the use of material remedies for this disease. Divine Love had been manifested, and that was enough.
