It is nearly five years since I first heard of Christian Science—a friend told me of it, and said the reading of the text-book, Science and Health, had healed hundreds of people. I had suffered all my life with a bowel disorder, but I was healed in a very short time in Christian Science. My sight is also very much improved. The physical healing to me, however, is nothing compared to the spiritual illumination, and words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the joy and peace that this truth has brought into my life. My greatest desire is to consecrate my life more and more to God, and to His cause, that I may prove by my right living that I am trying to be a Christian Scientist.
