A very large audience listened to an address on Christian Science by Prof. Hermann S. Hering, at the La Grange Christian Science church Thursday evening [April 28]. The speaker was introduced by Avery Coonley, who said in part,—

It is not the practice of the Christian Scientists to proselyte in any sense, but since most of us first turned to Christian Science in the hope of finding release from sickness, and through our healing gained an interest in the Principle by which it operates, we should certainly be less than grateful if no opportunity were given others to learn from authoritative sources what Christian Science is.
