I want to express my gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader...

I want to express my gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for what Christian Science has done for me. I came to Science in November, 1908, a wreck both mentally and physically according to mortal sense. years previous to this, I was taken very ill. This was thought to be due to a great sense of worry, fear, self-consciousness, and a lack of correct understanding of God, divine Principle. Until I came into Christian Science, I went almost every day to see a doctor, but instead of getting better I became worse, and to sense was gradually losing my mind. It seemed to me as if my future would be an utter failure; but "man's extremity is God's opportunity." Through a kind brother I found Christian Science, and now everything is very different. Instead of looking forward to death, I now look forward to "life eternal," and all discord is giving way to the power of Truth, as it ever must. My business also has improved. I am a musician, and I might say that I am able to play much better, having been told by friends of the marked improvement during the past year.

I am indeed very grateful for all these blessings that I have received,—grateful to God, and to our Leader for her faithful declaration of the truth. I also wish to express my appreciation for the great help that I have received from the testimonies which appear in the Sentinel and the Journal. Leonard Rothery, New York, N. Y.
