I send this testimony with thanks to God, and to dear Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader. A little over a year ago a kind friend sent me five copies of the Sentinel to read. As I had been suffering for years, my eyes were so weak that I could not read; but when these were given me I thought I would try. I was weary, and in anguish, but I had not read very long before I found that it was the good old gospel of Jesus the Christ, and my eyes began to feel better, and I then gave up the medicine which I had been taking for years.

For three years I had suffered from gall-stones, also stomach and spinal trouble; then I had a fever, and lung trouble, besides other diseases. The doctors could not help me, except with opiates, so they all thought I was gone. After I had been in bed about four months, I began to be a little better, but my head and nerves were still very bad. In the sixth month I went to Montrose, Col., and took one week's treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. I am now well, and am thankful to God for Christian Science and what it has done for me; also for the spiritual uplifting which I have received.

I am studying every day in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and my desire is to live up to its teachings.—Mrs. Mary Linburg, Montrose, Col.
