I was afflicted with a stomach disorder from the time I was a child. Thirty-one years ago I came to live in the mountains, and soon after I commenced to have fainting-spells. I also suffered a great deal from neuralgia. I was treated by different doctors and took medicine almost continually, sometimes getting a little relief, but nothing helped me permanently. I was finally in such a condition that I had a fainting-spell nearly every day, and was afraid to go away from home. I could eat nothing but bread and water, I could not sleep, and I had also suffered from bowel trouble a great many years.

A friend had several times advised me to try Christian Science, but I refused to accept it. Later, I suffered so much that I was glad to grasp at anything that offered even relief. I commenced to attend the Christian Science meetings, and became acquainted with a lady who gave me treatment. I took treatment for two weeks, but did not feel any better. The lady said it was strange I should not be helped when others were, and I myself thought there was no reason why I should not. Then, almost before I knew it, I felt like a new person. I bought a copy of Science and Health, studied it and tried to help myself, and I improved steadily.

This was over six years ago, and I am glad that I found Christian Science. I think it is only right that others should know what I have gained. I have good health now, I sleep well, and do not suffer or have to starve myself any more. I am very thankful to God for all the benefits which I have received.—Josaphena Champion, Leadville, Col.
