It is now over five years since I became interested in Christian Science, and I feel it is my duty to tell some of the benefits received from its teachings. I came to Science for physical help, as medical treatment and change of climate had failed to help me. I had suffered from severe colds and cough for a number of years. We were then living in Chicago, and as our family doctor told me that I must get out of there as soon as possible, we came west; but the change did no good. I became weaker and weaker, had a number of alarming attacks, and had given up hope when Christian Science found me. My healing was slow but sure, and today I am in the best of health. We have had many demonstrations of healing in our family. At one time my little daughter had both of her feet badly scalded. When I removed the child's stockings the appearance was alarming, but I sent immediately to a Christian Science practitioner, and help came at once. While the child's feet seemed to be in a dreadful condition, she suffered no pain, and in a short time the healing was accomplished, leaving no scar.

We are truly thankful for all that Christian Science has done for us, and we are trying to prove our thankfulness by living its teachings. I have been a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Salt Lake for three years.—Harriet C. Starr, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Christian Science was first presented to me about five years ago. At that time I was seeking health through a change of climate. Nearly all of my life I had been sick, and finally, after being thoroughly examined by a physician, the verdict was that it was only a question of time when I must succumb to disease, as my lungs were then very seriously affected.
