Wichita (Kan.) Beacon
Of Mrs. Eddy I have only this to say: I consider her a most wonderful woman, and that would be possible looking at her from any conceivable view-point. For her followers I have this to say: I have only the highest regard for the most of them I have met, and consider them to be on a par with if not above the average members of other churches spiritually and intellectually. It seems to me that some are not very broad-minded in viewing other churches and forms, of healing, but that may be because I have been somewhat unfortunate in my acquaintance.
With the idea that God heals the body I have no quarrel, as I most firmly believe there is no good thing which is not of God, and that what we call evil is in most instances good misapplied; or, as darkness is only the absence of light, so evil is the absence of good.
