I am nearly seventy-seven years old and have known of Christian Science about twenty-five years, but did not accept it until a little over a year ago. I then began to study the Lesson-Sermon every day, but did not care to take treatment. Later on I decided to ask help for rheumatism, which had troubled me for more than two years, and I was healed in a few treatments. During the time since this experience I have enjoyed better health than for years. Some time ago I fell on a slippery sidewalk. I at once had the beautiful thought that God is Love, and I did not feel the slightest pain but got up and walked up four flights of stairs and washed away the traces of the injury. As my nose appeared to be badly hurt, I took treatment over a week. The injury was entirely overcome, and my teeth which had projected were pushed into place by this fall. I have laid aside my glasses, and am writing this testimony without them.
I am very thankful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, and I study the Lesson twice every day. I hope to join The Mother Church.—Anna Alloway, Boston, Mass.
