In 1902 I was healed of an aggravated case of bladder trouble. It was a return of the affliction, and on the former occasion of its appearance I was under a doctor's treatment in Chicago for a period of between nine and ten months. On the recurrence of the trouble I was advised to seek help from Christian Science; which I did, and within a period of six weeks was completely healed. I afterward passed two medical examinations by two separate doctors, and both pronounced me well, after knowing all the conditions of my case. These examinations were for the purpose of life insurance, and a policy was granted me without difficulty by a well-known insurance company of Milwaukee. I have given verbal testimony to my healing on several occasions, but declined to give one in writing without the consent of the insurance company, which I obtained by asking.

The physical healing does not tell half the story of the benefit which I derived from the study of this glorious truth. My life is much happier because of the different view of existence gained through the healing and in reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. It is a great pleasure to be of assistance to others who may be suffering as I was, and who do not know what I learned then and now know of the efficacy of this healing truth. Words cannot express my sincere gratitude to God for the blessings received, nor to the workers in Christian Science for pointing out the way.
