I should like to add my testimony to that of the many...
I should like to add my testimony to that of the many I read each week in our Sentinel. For three years I was a great sufferer from a kidney disease, together with many other ailments. I had reached the point where I had given up all hope of ever being well again; but when I turned to the blessed truth which heals all disease. I received such great help from the first treatment that I took up the study of the "little book" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures), and it brought me great peace and comfort. I was not healed at once of the kidney trouble, and it took five years to overcome all the diseases from which I suffered. I was, however, so thankful for each day's help that I pressed on, more and more each day, until all was well.
It is now over nineteen years since I was first healed. I am striving to grow more in the understanding of this truth which has enabled me to cast out many old mortal beliefs, to learn to love my fellow-men more, and to see Christ, Truth, as the source of all good. I have indeed much for which to thank God, and also our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her wonderful works, especially Science and Health. Words fail to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me in helping me to obtain this freedom.
Mrs. Jennie Sauer, Austin, Tex.
