OMNIPRESENCE

The realization of the omnipresence of God, as taught in Christian Science, carries with it immediate healing and cleansing power, and the demonstration of this truth causes the heart to overflow with gratitude to the one who was pure enough and near enough to God to discern this Christ-ideal. As God, good, is omnipresent, it is beautifully natural for man to be perpetually conscious of Him in whom "we live, and move, and have our being." It also becomes a simple and blessed experience when we so insist upon man's inseparable unity with God, Life, Truth, Love, that any and every belief of separation from Him is eliminated, and we perceive the eternal man of divine Mind. Every claim of error, sin, disease, death, is a denial in belief of the omnipresence of God.

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 12) our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, tells us that Jesus' prayers were "deep and conscientious protests of Truth,—of man's likeness to God and of man's unity with Truth and Love." Because God is All-in-all, nothing can separate God's word from the parent Mind, and not one instant of time can come between the declaration of Truth and its manifestation. "He [God] spake, and it was done," is the divine record of creation, and this order has not changed. Surely this is our permanent joy to know that in proportion as we become obedient to divine Principle we shall be able to express the divine activity and heal instantaneously as did Jesus, to "act as possessing all power from Him in whom we have our being" (Ibid., p. 264).
