For fifteen years I had eye trouble, which material means never relieved. The last two years of that time I suffered constantly, and had but little use of my eyes. I was often discouraged, still I always felt that somewhere I must find help; but gradually almost my whole system became disordered, and when I reached the point where I knew I must have help very soon, the truth was brought to me by one who saw so clearly God's love and care for His children that I was able to see it, too. A few days after Christian Science treatment began I was healed, and only those who have been through a similar experience know how happy I was—not so much that I was well, but because I had found God. That was over three years ago, and since then I have been striving to learn God's ways and how to walk in them. During that time I have been well, for the first time in my life; it almost seems as though a new body had been given me.

Quite recently God's protecting power was once more shown me. On retiring I noticed some sports on my arm, but gave no heed, and by morning my body was nearly covered. While in the woods the day before, I had come in contact with what is called poison ivy. The condition seemed so serious that a practitioner was informed of the trouble over the telephone, and in four days the eruption was all cleared away. To me this was wonderful, for the whole body was affected. There was no burning or pain, excepting for a short time on my hands and throat.

I am glad to have been guided to the truth, and I know that only as I live it in thought and deed can I show my gratitude to God. I am also grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her faithful ministry to mankind.
