It is about six years since I was healed of what the doctors called a severe eruption. My condition was such that apparently there was no hope for me, but my healing was so remarkable that I have hesitated to send in a testimony, as many to whom I have told my experience were incredulous. When my third child was about a month old, a terrible eruption appeared, which in a short time had covered my whole body, even my eyes being badly affected. I tried every possible material remedy, but got constantly worse, and became so discouraged that I scarcely cared to live. My husband then went to his grandmother, who is a Christian Scientist, and together they went to a practitioner, twelve miles distant, for help. I was almost indifferent, for I had little faith in this method, and about two weeks after treatment was begun I seemingly became much worse than I had ever been (this I have since learned was what Mrs. Eddy calls chemicalization), and for two weeks my condition was terrible. Why I clung to the treatment is a mystery to me, but about this time I discovered that the eruption was beginning to heal, a process which involved my entire body and required nearly a year for its completion, but I am now entirely free.

Words cannot express my thanks to God that through Mrs. Eddy's inspired book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the physical healing has been wrought, but I am most thankful for the spiritual uplift, and the knowledge of "God with us" as manifested in the government of my home and its influence upon my children.—MRS.
