With a heart full of gratitude I should like to give a testimony of healing, with the hope that it may prove helpful to others. For some time I had noticed that I could see nothing with my right eye. My husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, feared lest I should become blind, especially as one of my sisters is blind in one eye. He wished me to have my eye examined by one of the specialists here. This was done, and the oculist said he was sorry not to be able to give me any hope of the sight becoming normal again, but as the left eye was quite healthy, I could see enough with it for the rest of my life. I then took Christian Science treatment here in Frankfurt a|M., in perfect confidence that God would help me, and after two months the pain and unpleasant sensation in the eye left me, and my sight, thanks to God, is perfectly restored. For this great manifestation of the power of Truth, I owe a deep debt of gratitude to the giver of all good ; and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I owe my heartfelt thanks for this glorious truth which has been revealed to us. My earnest desire is to show my gratitude by a life of meekness and devotion to God, good.
Frau Liesel Hessler, Frankfurt a|M., Germany.
