In 1900 I became interested in Christian Science through my own healing. I had been sick and under the care of a physician for several weeks, but did not get any better. We asked that another physician be called, and after a consultation it was decided that I would have to undergo an operation before I could be any better, but this neither my family nor I could consent to. I then decided to try Christian Science, and immediately sent for a practitioner. I was very quickly healed. I had also been a great sufferer from sleeplessness for about eleven years, and very soon after my healing I had an attack accompanied by extreme nervousness. I asked for Christian Science treatment, and again was healed. I feel very grateful to our heavenly Father, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science.
