It is with a heart filled with gratitude and love for God, and for our beloved Leader, that I wish to give my testimony to what Christian Science has done for me. When it first found me it was in a time when a great sorrow had come into my life. Brought up in an orthodox church, I learned then what little comfort my religion offered me. After visiting several different churches, divine Love led me to a Christian Science service, and here I found what I was looking for. After my first attendance I never felt a desire to attend any other church. My daughters then took up the study of Christian Science with me, and from that time until now our lives have grown happier every day. The first help I received for physical ailments was the overcoming of headaches, to which I had been subject since childhood and which had caused me a great deal of suffering all my life. Later on other ailments gradually disappeared, as I grew into a better understanding of the truth. I am truly thankful, and shall strive to be a worthy member of the Church of Christ, Scientist.
