My heart is so full of gratitude, quite unlike any I have ever before known, for the revealed truth of being made known to me in my search for health in Christian Science, as taught by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I could like to contribute this small testimony of healing. I can scarcely realize, in looking back over the calendar of time, that only fourteen months have elapsed since I sought the aid of Christian Science by having absent treatment from a practitioner to overcome the effects of a severe operation, which was of most distressing character. I had submitted to the operation as the last hope, according to the opinion of specialists, of restoring my health, but in fact I was in a much worse condition than formerly, and my general health seemed utterly gone. It was certainly proven true in my case that distance is no barrier to Mind, as by the second or third day I was so improved that I could eat anything I wished, with no inconvenience, and slept well, something I had not done for months, I might say years. I improved so that all my friends remarked upon my changed appearance. Another ailment was slower in yielding, but now I am quite free and my health is otherwise perfect, with comparatively little help aside from the Lesson-Sermons and the truth which is revealed to us from the Love-illumined pages of Science and Health, and from the Bible, which formerly was a sealed book to me. With my slight spiritual knowledge I have been able to help members of my own family out of many distressing attacks of illness, and also have helped to lift the thought of others into this channel of peace. I have considered it the greatest possible privilege to be able to give even a "cup of cold water" in Christ's name.

My gratitude to dear Mrs. Eddy for holding aloft the flaming torch of Truth, that we might see the way of Life in Christian Science, is indeed unbounded.
