I have studied Christian Science for the past year, and when I stop to think how little I formerly knew of the truth, I feel very much encouraged. I have still a great deal to overcome, but by studying Science and Health each day I gain a better understanding of the spiritual truth which leads to perfect harmony. For the past twenty years I had never known what it was to be free from rheumatic trouble. Last summer I had a very severe attack, and I immediately turned to Science and Health for relief. The first three days I seemed to receive no help; but I felt that I would do so, and I was encouraged to continue with my study. On the fourth day, as I took up our text-book to begin my reading, I opened at the chapter "Footsteps of Truth." For four hours I read and studied this chapter, and I was completely healed of my trouble. This is only one of the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, and I am indeed grateful to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this healing truth.
