In John's Gospel we read, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I cannot express in words my feeling of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for the light that comes to my consciousness as I daily study the Bible in connection with the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Many ills, known under materia medica as throat and lung trouble, etc., have been destroyed; also the sins of anger, resentment, malice, and hate have been overcome in the degree that I try to live this truth and put into practice what I read. We read in the Bible that God forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, and if God be for us, in our endeavor to reflect this light of Truth, error can never hinder us from receiving and radiating it.

As one who is striving to enter "the narrow way," thereby to reach the heavenly goal, I have learned that much more is expected of me than of one who knows naught of this truth, and is drifting along on the tidal wave of mortal mind. Much is expected of Christian Scientists, because unto them has been given by our revered Leader the key to the kingdom of heaven. I pray that my spiritual consciousness may be established, and the light of Truth and Love be forever reflected by me.
