I love Christian Science, for it has saved me

I love Christian Science, for it has saved me. It has proved the presence of the "great Physician" at all times of need in our home. In our first experience of its power it lifted me out of utter helplessness and bondage. For a month I had suffered with severe pains in my head; with great difficulty I moved it at all; night and day the sense of pain was extreme. Being urged to go to a hospital, I decided to try Christian Science, but through some apparent misunderstanding the practitioner sent for did not come, so with great effort I arose and went to her. Some moments after I had left her house I suddenly stopped short, for I realized that I was healed !

Later a little daughter of the house was taken ill with fever and all its distressing accompaniments. We called for help, and in two days she was up and the third day she was in school, perfectly restored. A few months after this a four-year-old child swallowed a marble. Some days elapsed before Science help was obtained. The child was very ill when the practitioner came, but how quickly all appearances were changed and a happy child was playing in the park. In the three years that have followed the household has experienced almost perfect physical health, not a member being confined to the bed at any time.

For all this I am grateful, but there is more to tell, for Christian Science has healed a consciousness of sin, and there are no words that can express my love to God, my reverence for and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
