The half can never be told of what Christian Science has done for me, but I desire to relate my healing from a dreaded disease. During the summer of 1902 my right knee began to trouble me, and as the pain increased instead of diminishing I consulted a physician. I crippled along for about three years, when I resorted to crutches, expecting them to facilitate my recovery. I had used the crutches nine months when I was advised by a friend who had had Science treatment in her family to try Christian Science. I discarded my crutches after two treatments, although one limb was contracted, but after seven treatments I was entirely healed. I have never experienced any pain in my knee since.
