It is with a heart full of gratitude to God, and to our loved Leader, that I bear witness to the truth. I had always felt a lack in my religious life, and after an evening spent in conversation with a Christian Scientist I knew that Christian Science was what I needed. At this time I took a week's treatment for myself and little boy, and this week was one of the happiest and most contented I can remember. I took up the study of the Lesson-Sermons soon after wards, and one day while reading an article in The Christian Science Journal the truth therein presented affected me so strongly as to heal an aliment from which I had long suffered. Christian Science has made my whole life brighter and calmer. Prior to the birth of a child I was freed from distressing attacks with which I had previously been a great sufferer, and I also discarded my glasses. At the time of the birth everything was natural and beautiful. I give Christian Science the credit for the exceptional brightness of my baby and for the increased happiness of my life. In addition to this different members of our family have had some fine demonstrations over various ailments, accidents, etc., and the reading of Science and Health has done good work for us.
