I have been studying Christian Science about ten years, and have received so much help from others' testimonies that I feel impelled to write of an experience which I had recently, hoping it may. help some mother. to see more clearly that we can depend upon God at all times. My little boy, three years of age, wanted to go barefooted. I allowed him to do so, and in the afternoon he came screaming into the house, having got a large thorn in his foot. I tried to take it out, but it was imbedded so deeply that it could not be removed. I asked my husband if he was willing to trust the foot to God, as shown as in our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and he replied that he was. I said I would do for the child to the best of my understanding. I heard no further complaint about the foot, and put on the child's shoes at once. Six days passed without my even once looking at the foot, and the child walked as usual. Late in the evening of the sixth day the thought came to me to go and look at it. I hesitated at first, but finally I did go, and upon looking I found a small dark spot which I pricked with my needle, and the thorn came out easily.

This is only one of the many proofs I have had that Truth does heal. I have passed through deep waters of affliction, but my heart is filled with gratitude that I am privileged to study and learn of this great truth that heals all our diseases. My two childern, six and three years of age, have never tasted medicine, Truth has been their only physician.
