Two years ago my ten-year-old son suffered a very severe injury to his eye. When I brought him home and looked at his eye I was greatly frightened. My daughter, who is a Christian Scientist, said we should take him to a practitioner, and we did so immediately, telephoning to her that we were coming and for what reason. In three days my son's eye was all right. I then took off the bandage, and the next morning he went to school. This led me to read Science and Health in earnest, and I find the dark places in human experience growing brighter and the crooked paths made straight.
