I have felt for a long time that I should give my experience in Christian Science for publication, as my healing was such a beautiful demonstration of God's power. About seven years ago I was taken from a home of comfort and luxury to be placed in an institution for nervous cases. I could not retain any food, and mentally was much distressed, so that I made several attempts to end my life. I was also very thin, weighing only ninety pounds. I remained in the hospital three years. I was then pronounced incurable, having come from a nervous family, and my mother concluded that I had better die at home.

I came home with the same trouble as I had gone away—not relieved in any way. I then heard of Christian Science, and went to see a practitioner. In one week I could eat anything; in one month I had gained twenty-five pounds, and am now a very healthy woman, weighing one hundred and eighty pounds. I am also a very happy woman, and I thank God for the cure, and Mrs. Eddy for her healing words.—Lillie M. Graeff, West Philadelphia, Pa.
