DISTRIBUTION OF SHOES TO THE NEEDY

Concord (N. H.) Daily Patriot

As in harmony with her beneficent custom in Concord, Mrs. Eddy has instructed W. A. Thompson, one of our popular shoe men, to give away this year, during the State Fair week, shoes to the deserving and needy children of the community.

Mr. Thompson, in talking with a Patriot representative in regard to how best to proceed in carrying out Mrs. Eddy's wishes, said, "Would is not be well if the teachers of the city could be interested in the matter. They, perhaps better than others, are in a position to know among whom these favors might be distributed. They could communicate with Professor Rundlett or some other and he could let me know."

Mr. Thompson will be represented in the north wing of the Exposition building on the fair grounds on Children's Day, and there and then will give out cards, and the holders of the cards can call at his store and be fitted.
