LEGISLATION IN TEXAS

The passage of Senate Bill No. 26 by the Texas Legislature has caused a number of citizens of the State to request the Governor to veto this bill, and the following letter from an Episcopal clergyman is one of a number of such requests published in the Houston Post. This clergyman, whose broad sense of right and justice is not limited to his own church, writes,—
