I had been a sufferer from kidney and bowel trouble, for many years. The kidney trouble was finally pronounced very serious. I was examined for life insurance by a well-known physician and was refused. In 1895 I came to Little Rock, Ark., to live, and I began to have more complications, among others an enlargement in my left side. As ordinary drugs had no effect, the doctor prescribed morphine. After suffering from 1895 to 1898 I was induced by a gentleman of this city to try Christian Science. Twelve hours after the first treatment I had natural functional action, the first time in two years, and from that day to this conditions have been normal, and no drugs have passed my lips. All my other troubles disappeared as I advanced in my study of Christian Science.
