Christian Science is doing everything for me
Christian Science is doing everything for me. I had lost my father, mother, and an only sister; had sacrificed my position to come West with my four little boys and their mother, who was seemingly in a precarious condition from lung trouble. I walked the streets of this great city, helpless, hopeless, Godless; wholly forsaken, as it seemed, and despairing; then I cried out in my agony, and my cry was heard. I was led to Christian Science, and saved; my wife was healed; a position secured, and I am working out my problem hourly. Surely God has been good to me; and as thought turns to the tireless workers in Boston, my gratitude to God, and to our Leader, seems inexpressible. As I watch the signs-posts to Truth and Love appearing from week to week, ever in a fresh "dress," I would that I might so live my gratitude that it should be felt by all.
B. O. Griffin, Los Angeles, Cal.
A few years ago Christian Science was brought to my notice when I was just making an uncertain recovery from a long illness,—the result of heart trouble. I soon realized that the healing as practised by our Master, and discerned again for us in this age by Mrs. Eddy, is the only real healing. My cure was gradual, but complete and permanent. I am constantly kept in good health by the study of the Holy Scriptures and Mrs. Eddy's writings. After all this time reason and experience are proving to me on all sides that Christian Science is true, and I am beginning to grasp the fact that it is the only solid and practical foundation for our daily life, whether in business or otherwise. I give thanks to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, that I have come to know these things.
