Mrs. Eddy is endeavoring to elevate the moral, social, physical, and religious standard of the human race. ... As a believer in the Biblical doctrine of faith, we can discover nothing in Mrs. Eddy's teachings that is antagonistic to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and nothing that does not tend to the moral and religious betterment of the human race.

The creed, or cult, or doctrine that aims to make mankind better and instill in the mind of the thinking seeker after truth the great essential doctrine that God is Love and that we are His children, cannot be dangerous; and while not in perfect sympathy with all of her teachings, we wish the world had more who are like Mrs. Eddy. If that man who makes two flowers to bloom where but one bloomed before is a benefactor to his race, then he who saves a soul from sin, by whatever interpretation of the gospel of Christ, is deserving of a crown of glory.
