My healing through Christian Science has been so beautiful...

My healing through Christian Science has been so beautiful to me, that I wish to express my thanks to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having shown us the way into this truth which makes us free. I was nervous and irritable; I thought life not worth the struggle. I called in a physician who had treated our family for twenty years, for at that time I would not give Christian Science any notice. The physician commenced to treat me, but I grew no better; in fact I became worse. I then took electrical treatment, which was very severe and painful, and did me no good whatever. In spite of all this I continued treatment of every kind under my physician, until his sudden death compelled me to look for aid in another direction. My sister-in-law had often spoken to me about Christian Science, but I would ask her not to speak on that subject in our home. The passing on of our family physician, however, came when my mental and physical condition was certainly alarming, and my family told me I must decide to do something. I then did not know which way to turn, but I sent for my sister-in-law and commenced treatment. I also started to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and began to improve from the very first. I continued to do so, until I was able to attend the Sunday services, also Wednesday evening meetings, and now I am a well woman. Not only am I a well woman, but I am a happy wife and mother. I see life in quite a different light, and for my healing I am so thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and my greatest desire is to know more of this healing truth and to live it.—Mrs. Laura W. Renz, St. Louis, Mo.
