Two years ago I had scarcely heard of Christian Science
Two years ago I had scarcely heard of Christian Science. At that time I was in great mental distress; the world looked very dark and life seemed hardly worth the struggle, until a dear Scientist showed me the truth in the quiet and loving way that I have since learned is characteristic of all Christian Scientists. Since then life has assumed a new aspect, and whereas before all was dark, hope and love now illumine the way. Contentment and happiness have taken the place of care and worry. Not only have I found peace for myself, but I have been able to lead others to know the truth. I am also grateful for much physical help, having been cured in two days of what seemed to be a severe case of illness. From a material standpoint I should expect to be growing weaker and less able to work as the years pass, but I find myself stronger and more vigorous to-day than ever before. The word "tired" is eliminated from my vocabulary.
Christian Science is a religion to live and work by, and every day brings new proofs of its beauty. Not for worlds would I be without the knowledge I have gained, and my great desire is to learn more of this truth and to know God better.—Lucy D. Boynton, Napa, Cal.
