It is with deep gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, that I send this testimonial of the healing of my two daughters and myself from a fever. In the spring of 1906 my daughter was taken very ill, and some few days later the same symptoms appeared on the younger one. I had been a student of Christian Science for a little over two years, but could not meet this case; I therefore telephoned to a practitioner for help. She gave immediate treatment, then later on came to the house and gave treatments, coming each day thereafter until the cases were met. The eldest daughter was to sense very ill. The fever developed into a malignant form with complications. At the end of three weeks she seemed convalescent, but she had a relapse. Divine Love, however, ruled out all fear, and my child's life was saved. The second daughter's case was met very quickly, and in three weeks she was able to assist about the home work. Through my slight understanding of this truth I was able to nurse them both, night and day, and for eight weeks the elder one was my constant care. Then I was taken with the same trouble. The fever in my case was overcome in about four days, although I kept my bed longer. The final demonstration of the truth was perfect in all three cases.

I would like to give thanks for another beautiful demonstration. I had been a sufferer from asthmatic trouble for some years, and about eighteen months ago was in great physical distress from a severe attack, and had been unable to sleep but very little for five or six weeks. A dear friend advised me to ask for help. The sense of suffering was very great at the time and I had my daughter call the practitioner. The treatment was begun at once. I took up Science and Health to read, and in five minutes the blessing came; in ten I was breathing perfectly, and shortly afterwards I sang for joy. That night I slept without coughing and have never had a troublesome attack since.

How can I speak my gratitude for the blessings of Christian Science! I am trying to live it and demonstrate its beautiful teaching for others, and have had many proofs of the divine Love which heals.
