So inaccurate does she deem the statements made in the opening article of McClure's Magazine for January, in what purports to be a "history" of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and the movement as well, that Mrs. Eddy has replied to the attack in person, and it must be admitted that she riddles the statements so that little is left of them. McClure's started off with a bogus picture of Mrs. Eddy and now follows it up with misstatements about her. The series of articles is not likely to have any great value.

See that no day passes in which you do not make yourself a somewhat better creature; and, in order to do that, find out first what you are now. Try to get strength of heart enough enough to look yourself fairly in the face, in mind as well as in body.—John Ruskin.
