About six years ago I was a hopeless invalid

About six years ago I was a hopeless invalid. During the five years previous I had undergone a number of operations,—twelve, I think,—receiving lasting benefit from none. When Christian Science was brought to my notice I was very feeble, having been ill for some weeks, and it was without much hope that I decided to try it for one week before going again to the hospital. After three treatments every distressing symptom of disease had disappeared, though I was still quite weak. Treatment was continued two or three times a week for perhaps a little over a month, when I was told to come only when suffering. I did so at my next attack, and received immediate relief. This experience was repeated a number of times during the year; then for a year I was well, but finally had an attack. Another year of health and another spell of sickness followed, since which time—about four years ago—the old trouble has never appeared. My present good health is so apparent that only those who knew me during the years of suffering can appreciate the change.
