In November, 1901, I was suffering from lameness caused by a fall two years before, which had left me a hopeless cripple, so far as medical remedies were concerned. The doctors had pronounced the trouble incurable, and they also said the knee joint was in a very serious condition. I had to walk on crutches, the limb being entirely helpless, and I also suffered intense pain. Just before coming into Christian Science the limb began to discharge, and this was diagnosed by one physician as a malignant disease of the bone. I was in great fear and distress, and it was in this condition that I turned to Christian Science for healing. I was relieved with the first treatment; in two months' time I discarded the crutches and walked with a cane, and in five months more I was healed entirely. During this time I was healed of an organic trouble for which the doctor had advised me to have an operation, also of chronic headaches. I am indeed grateful to God for Christian Science, and to its Discoverer, Mrs. Eddy.
Mrs. Clara E. Phinney, Jonesville, Mich.
