LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Concord, N. H., Sept. 18, 1906.

Dearly Beloved Leader:— The Directors have notified me that I have been selected to deliver the lecture for The Mother Church on Oct. 16, and that you had approved the selection. I thank you deeply for the honor thus conferred and pray that I may be a channel for Truth and Love on that occasion. It will be the first lecture delivered in The Mother Church Extension. If you have any suggestions to make, I will be most happy to receive and adopt them.

I enclose a verse that accompanied a contribution sent to me for the street-paying fund. It expresses so sweet a thought I believed you would be pleased to see it. Could the students everywhere know of this fund, and that they are privileged to contribute to this new highway, I am sure many would gladly make use of the opportunity to be of some real practical help to you and to your beloved home city.
