I have ere this told how I was healed by Christian Science of a throat trouble of years' standing, after receiving no particular benefit from medical treatment and after having been to various places in search of health. I have lately had recalled to me the fact that I was at the same time (about six years ago) healed of an ailment from which I had suffered for over twenty-five years. When I was about sixteen years old I was thrown from a horse, and from that time on I was a sufferer from the injury then received. I was on crutches quite a while and never considered my knee perfectly well. Frequent consultations were held with prominent physicians, each of whom suggested and tried different methods to relieve the pain and restore the knee action. Their opinions as to the injury differed. Finally, about eighteen years ago, an operation was performed, and I had to use crutches for about four months, after which I had to wear a tight elastic bandage to keep the parts in place.

The following winter the trouble increased and I was again confined to the house. We then consulted with another prominent physician, who tried another line of treatment, so that I could not go out at all excepting on crutches. Finally I became better, but with each change of weather the trouble returned. This occurred up to the time of my being healed in Christian Science of the throat trouble, since which time I have forgotten all about the years of pain and treatment for my knee. I can now walk miles without feeling any ill effects.

I know that Christian Science alone relieved me from this ailment of years, and I am therefore grateful to it for this and other benefits received, and when I say that I am grateful to Christian Science it includes Mrs. Eddy, who has made it possible for the civilized world to benefit by this truth which makes men free.
