I feel so grateful for what Christian Science has done for...
I feel so grateful for what Christian Science has done for me that I cannot be silent any longer. When a loving aunt first brought the light to me, I was in great darkness, the medical verdict being that I should die or go insane. But thanks be to God, and to our Leader, the light of Truth has cleared away the darkness. After we came into Christian Science my husband came down with a contagious disease. Not being a Scientist, he sent for a physician, who pronounced his case malarial fever, so that at first we were not prepared to meet it. When the symptoms appeared on myself, I overcame them in one night by realizing that God is ever-present, and that where He is disease cannot come. My mother and our youngest child, a half year old, were the next ones to be attacked. The demonstration was made for the baby by my mother's realization of the power of Truth as illustrated in the raising of Jairus' daughter, and mother was able to care for her own room the fourth day. Our youngest child was born in Christian Science and without any painful experience. An attack of throat trouble was overcome for our little girl, so that within a week she was back to school. It seems that all the ills of the flesh have come up to be destroyed, but by holding to the thought of God's perfect creation, and that man has dominion, we are more and more competent to meet them.
