One evening my right foot suddenly began hurting as if sprained. For a short time I kept wondering what had happened, but soon awoke to the realization of the nothingness of error, and went earnestly to work to overcome it. All the evening I worked; read the Bible and Science and Health, but the pain and soreness in the foot increased until I could scarcely step on it. I went to bed, but not to sleep, as the pain, soreness, and inflammation seemed to increase until I could scarcely bear the weight of the bed-clothing. At 4 a.m. there was but very little change, and again I repeated passages from the Christian Science text-book. Then I fell asleep, and when I awoke was rejoiced to find the foot healed, and such a calm, happy, restful feeling. How sweetly the thought came, "I know that my redeemer liveth."

My heart goes out in love and gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her courage and faithfulness in giving us this wonderful message of Truth.
