In loving gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader, I give my testimony for this wondrous truth, which has come into my life to bless and to purify. I did not come to Christian Science for physical healing, but because I found it brought me nearer that sweet peace which surpasses all human understanding. When I was just a girl from high school I had a demonstration which was instantaneous, and it has always stood out from the others because I went to the practitioner without understanding and without much faith. I went simply because a friend wished it, and I was healed in one treatment of an ulcerated tooth. As time went on this same friend invited me to attend the services, which I did, and then came to me a little understanding of what Christian Science really is—a knowledge of God—a true idea of Life, and of right living. I am very glad to know of Christian Science thus early and I am indeed grateful to be able to see this beautiful light.
